Book Description
Since the 1980s people have been writing about the indigo children. Today, many believe that nearly 80 percent of all children born are indigos. These are exceedingly creative, high-energy, perceptive kids who often don’t fit in. They seem to have an awareness that is light years beyond their age and quite often they are labeled as ADD, ADHD, or ODD when in actuality they are, in the words of the Dosicks, simply “children of spirit.” What sets this book apart from other books is that it approaches the issues facing indigos on a spiritual-energetic rather than purely cognitive level, and it is prescriptive, teaching a specially developed set of games that can help heal indigo children both in their own bodies and in their earthly relationships. Here the Dosicks name seventeen particular emotional wounds indigos hold in their bodies and give specific exercises for healing each one. The games have proven enormously helpful to these often-troubled kids—even preteens and teenagers. They celebrate the children’s different ways of perception and calm their agitation. The games involve some hands-on healing techniques, some scripted meditations, and other quick and simple techniques. Each game takes no more than two minutes to play, and this book features 101 black-and-white photographs showing parents exactly how to use the practices.

Book Description
Indigo children are bright, intuitive, strong-willed, and sometimes self-destructive individuals. They are often labeled (and misdiagnosed) as having ADD or ADHD because they won’t comply with established rules and patterns; and they may exhibit behavioral problems at home and at school. In The Care and Feeding of Indigo Children, Doreen Virtue, Ph.D., explores the psyche of these special kids and offers alternative solutions to Ritalin based on her extensive research and interviews with child-care experts, teachers, parents, and the Indigo Children themselves. Read the accounts of these remarkable children as they explain why they act-out, are aggressive or withdrawn; and what they want from the adults in their lives. You’ll also be fascinated by the psychic experiences that these kids have had in their lives so far. This is a groundbreaking book that can positively affect the ways in which you interact with your child, altering the shape of their future in miraculous ways.

Book Description
We are on a fascinating journey of life, of living, and of learning to create for ourselves the life we always wanted: a life that fits neatly around the "health, wealth, and happiness" that most of us have always been striving for. Why haven't we been able to create this life? What has prevented us from having this mythical health, wealth, and happiness? Some have it and then lose it or throw it away. So often we either can't create it, or we lose it because we have had absolutely no idea of how the energies of life work. This is what this book is all about helping you to understand how life works, and in that place you can then create your dreams. You become empowered to make better choices. Not everyone comprehends the very basic foundation of life: that we do create the reality in which we live. When you read this book, you will understand just how important this is. It is a valuable read for all those seeking answers to the meaning of life. We need this information to enable us to better understand and live in the new future we are in the process of creating.

Book Description
Focusing on narratives with supernatural components, Karen J. Renner argues that the recent proliferation of stories about evil children demonstrates not a declining faith in the innocence of childhood but a desire to preserve its purity. From novels to music videos, photography to video games, the evil child haunts a range of texts and comes in a variety of forms, including changelings, ferals, and monstrous newborns. In this book, Renner illustrates how each subtype offers a different explanation for the problem of the “evil” child and adapts to changing historical circumstances and ideologies.

Forget the Age of Aquarius and hang on tight! The term 'Indigo Children' entered the lexicon in 1982 when psychic and author Nancy Ann Tappe talked about the coming Indigo Age in her book, Understanding Your Life Through Color. In this guide, the authors explain why Indigo Children require lots of attention: they tend to think holistically and intuitively, and they process emotions differently. Parenting these high-level children is a challenge, and their years in school may be challenging. ?Articles about the Indigo phenomenon have appeared in newspapers throughout the U.S. and as far away as Russia over the last few years, including one in the New York Times ?Author Wendy H. Chapman is considered one of the foremost experts on Indigo

Book Description
Searching for the meaning of life’s experiences? Your soul purpose? Unlocking the Invisible Child: A Journey from Heartbreak to Bliss reveals the key to self-healing of body and mind, through the grace and gratitude of the heart and soul, via the all-knowing, compassionate invisible child within. In Unlocking the Invisible Child: A Journey from Heartbreak to Bliss, Laura Mayer shares her remarkable journey. It began with the discovery of a crippling and supposedly fatal disease at age fourteen. She chronicles the forty-year course of the disease, along with her multistage self-healing process, and suggests that anyone can take a similar journey to heal their own life. Mayer knows that all the medicine in the world could not have healed her, had she not gone deeper and unlocked the invisible child inside her. Over the past five years, Mayer has witnessed a total transformation in body, mind, and spirit. Aware that if she could mend her heart, her body would heal, she started to trust in the universe and listen to its messages. “There are as many paths toward healing as there are individuals in need of healing. This means there is no formula, no sure-fire, cookie-cutter method that applies to everyone. Unlocking the Invisible Child is the amazing account of Laura Mayer’s remarkable journey. She reveals to us a truth—that healing is and has always been the unique journey of the soul. Mayer writes from the heart. Her courageous account will inspire and encourage anyone who wants to be more than they are at present.” — Larry Dossey, M.D. author of The Power of Premonitions, Healing Words, and Reinventing Medicine

Book Description
Many psychotherapy clients have (undiagnosed) traits within the ADHD and autistic spectrums - two constellations of the "mistuned brain" that often overlap. The essence of ADHD is emotional dysregulation, and the sufferer displays enhanced needs for egosupportive responses from others, as he or she struggles with storms of affect, especially rage and anxiety, impulsivity, deficits in executive functioning, and attentional problems. It is often a hidden core within what is otherwise perceived as borderline or emotionally unstable personality disorder. Autistic spectrum traits, which often coexist with ADHD, are similarly brain-based, associated with intense but unintegrated experience, inflexibility, and a range of efforts to cope with potentially overwhelming emotions and anxieties. The author, a psychoanalyst and psychotherapist with forty years clinical experience, presents a wide-ranging discussion of these disorders, exploring psychoanalytic, neurobiological and psycho-energetic perspectives. He describes how the classical Freudian model, combined with Kohut's self-psychology, provides a sound basis for effective therapy with clients whose self is under continual threat of disintegration.
